Linux Fest Northwest 2005 - This year I gave a presentation as did Rikke Giles (KPLUG Presedent) and Ron Tidd (KPLUG VP). Shawn Bakker watched over the table and demoed his bird-feeder camera feed.
Linux Fest Northwest 2004 - My second annual attendance of LFNW, this year our hardware worked and we met a bunch of great people. Ron Tidd showed off Neverwinter Nights and I demoed my TrollBridge network authentication software, as well as streaming media on Linux with a live camera at the fest.
Linux Fest Northwest 2003 - A bunch of the local Northwest Linux User Groups got together to put on one of the biggest Linux Fests ever. It was held in Bellingham, WA (A 3 hour drive for me) and attracted hundreds of Linux enthusiasts from as far away as Portland. The Keynote speaker was Jon 'Maddog' Hall, and he was great! He gave an excellent speech and hung around afterwards to meet people and talk shop (he's got some great stories to tell).
Field Day 2002 - I spent my first Amateur Radio Field Day with the Wetnet guys at N7RIG's place up in Mt. Vernon. It was alot of fun, but a long drive from home. Maybenext year I'll bring a tent and stay up late working satellite contacts.
Phoenix Rising - event put on by Olympic Arms. They lost part of their factory to a fire in mid 2000 and sponsored this event to thank everyone for their support. After a factory tourwe went to the Evergreen Sportsman's range and got to fire some of their new Durachrome rifles. See my Phoenix Rising report for all the details
